Winter Academy
plus SPEED & QUICKNESS by Will Hayes, the trainer used by CHS Athletic Teams

Keeping as many touches on the ball during the off season is key to the development of  a soccer player.  The Winter Academy is a perfect way for your child to stay connected with soccer.  If your child is not participating in a winter sport, we suggest taking advantage of these workouts and/or the SPEED & QUICKNESS option available through Will Hayes.  We've seen great results with players!

WINTER ACADEMY
is broken up into two different sessions to choose from and utilize a punch card system
that is valid during either Academy Session

Weather Cancelation Policy:
If the weather is below 40 degrees, winter academy will be canceled for that workout.

Letter from your CUSC Board
Welcome to another year of fun-filled soccer in the Clackamas/Happy Valley area.  Soccer in our area keeps growing as more and more children and parents discover how much fun kids can have playing with their friends.  That’s one of the goals of recreational soccer, to introduce soccer to your children and let them have fun.  Last year, over 800 children played soccer with Clackamas United Soccer Club and the numbers just keep growing.
Our philosophy is to use the sport of soccer as a means to promote sportsmanship and concepts of fun and fair play.  Our main priorities for rec ball are as follows:
• Have FUN and give your best effort
• Promote and expect great sportsmanship
• Learn soccer fundamentals and teamwork
• Our growth will be measured by individual progress not by our win/loss record.
Soccer is a healthy sport that will develop strong bodies and help build great self-esteem.
It can be enjoyed by kids at all ages and become a life long sport.  Making all this happen is a huge job.  We
encourage you to get involved whether it’s coaching or just being a team parent.  If you

would like to help or have any questions about our programs please contact us (see contact information by clicking the CUSC Board tab to the left).  We’d love to hear from you.
