CUSC Classic Soccer Program
Fall Soccer
The “Fall Program” is for U11 - U14 players who will tryout during the first part of May and, if selected, will begin training shortly thereafter in preparation for the fall season. Coaches will usually hold 2-3 90-minute practices per week. The Qualifying Tournaments (QT & PQT) are typically played end of July. These “mandatory” tournaments determine the level of play each team will participate in during the fall season.
Indoor, Futsal and Winter Academy Program
After the fall season teams and players can choose to participate in a variety of options; Indoor Soccer, Futsal or Winter Outdoor Programs. Indoor and Futsal leagues begin in mid November and run through the February. Winter Outdoor programs will be available in 2010 and based on interest level. Team registration, referee fees and players cards are additional cost for this winter season and the responsibility of each player/team. These programs are facilitated at the coach level and CUSC encourages teams to work together to find an option that is flexible and comfortable for the commitment of the players and families.
Spring Program
CUSC encourages U11-U14 teams to participate in the OYSA Outdoor Spring League or play Futsal . The Spring League consists of 8 games played on Saturday and Sunday with the league starting early March and ending early April. The cost to participate in the Spring League is approx. $150 per player. This includes OYSA registration fees, coaching fees and field rental. If your team travels out of town you will have additional expenses, per diem, travel etc.
