CUSC PDP (Player Developmental Program)

The U8-U10 Player Developmental League (PDP) provides exposure to a higher level of competition for those players interested. This is done via our PDP Program. These developmental programs are accessible but not mandatory and introduce competition so that families and players can identify a path that aligns with their interest and commitment levels.

During our Spring Classic Tryouts we will also be holding a U8 - U10 Observation to help identify players and families that are interested in playing in a developmental league that occurs during the Summer tournaments, followed by a fall and spring season.

Teams will be assembled by early June but not as quickly as the classic teams. A list of interested participants will be created so that the developmental coaches and CUSC staff can follow up with interested families to discuss the options available based on interest and ability.

There is no fee for U8/U9/U10 Developmental Soccer Observations. However if your child is participating in the Classic Tryout in addition to the U9/U10 Developmental Soccer Observation, there is a one-time fee of $25. You can pre-register for the Classic Tryout on the website.

Fees for our Developmental Program:

Developmental U8 (2014) Boys and Girls (Fall & Spring). . . . $375

Developmental U9 & U10 Boys and Girls . . . . . . . . . $750 (Covers registration fees, coaches salaries, players cards, admin, equip, field usage & maintenance. Includes Winter Academy for 2012 & 2013)

Classic Competitive Program

Classic Soccer - This year round program Includes Fall, Winter Academy and Spring.

Fall
"Fall Season is for U11 - U14 players who will tryout during the first part of May and, if selected, will begin training shortly thereafter in preparation for the Fall Season. Coaches will usually hold 2-3 90 minute practices per week. The Fall Season begins in early September and ends in early November. Teams usually participate in 3-4 tournaments and are an additional expense per player.

Winter Programs

After the Fall Season, teams and players can choose to participate in a variety of options; Futsal, Indoor Soccer or Winter Academy Programs. Indoor and Futsal leagues begin in mid November and run through February. CUSC offers our Winter Academy for additional training opportunities and is included in the year round Classic Soccer fees. Team registration, referee fees and players cards are additional costs for some of these programs and are the responsibility of each player/team. These programs are facilitated at the coach level and CUSC encourages teams to work together to find an option that is flexible and comfortable for the commitment of players and families.

Spring
