We are here to provide you and your family with the best youth soccer experience possible! We are proud to bring you a group of highly accomplished coaches and administrators. Read the bios below to learn more about your coach and other leaders in our community.

Coach John is one of our Challenger Coaches from Scotland working with CUSC for his second year. Some of John's achievements include State Championship U12 Girls Rhode Island. Coaching U16 Boys in Umbro Cup with eams around the work at New Wembley. 

His playing career include: Inverkiething United U11, U12, U13 & U21. Beath HS and Hearts of Beath Amateur FC 1998-2009.

Experience: Challenger sports 2005-2007 summer coach and club coach Norcross U10 girls, U10 boys, and U15 girls. Rhode Island U12 Girls. Blue Brazil Boys Club 2008-2009 coach Cowdenbeath FC professional youth coach 2011-2012. Lochore Welfare JFC semi professional asst. manager and manager 2012-2016. Hearts of Midlothian FC professional youth coach and scout. Running a development center for view of making pro. 2013-2017 Hill of Beath JFC 2017-2018 semi professional assistant coach.

Glen Strachan
Director of PDP

Coach Glen is one of the returning coaches from Challenger Sports from Scotland working with CUSC this year. He played competitive club and high school back home in Dundee, Scotland from the age of 7 to 18. He started college and tool up coaching. He has been a full-time professional soccer coach in the United States for the past 4 years working with clubs in Washington and California. He is looking forward to having a fun and successful year with CUSC.

Credentials: BSc (Hons) Sports Biomedicine, USSF "D" License, SFA Children Level 2 License, First Aid, Safeguarding Children

Binh Le
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Binh has been coaching Girls competitive soccer for 5 years. Prior to coaching soccer he coached 8th grade girls, Freshman/Sophomore boys, and Junior/Senior Boys Basketball for CACA for over 10 years. Binh will be acquiring his E & D Coaching license this year. 

Experience: Played Midfield and Forward at Cleveland HS.                          

Becket Wright
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Coach Becket has been involved with coaching for 15 years. She started her journey with a group of boys when they were six years old and they just completed their last season at U19. 
Becket coached JV Girls Soccer at Gresham HS from 2010-2012 then took over the Oregon City HS Varsity Coach's position from 2013-2015. She coached at THELO from 2012-2105, then joined CUSC in 2016. She is the current coach of the Competitive U16 Girls. 

Experience: State Select Soccer (highest level available at that time). Four years Varsity Soccer at Barlow HS where she earned 1st Team ALL State Honors. Scholarship to Pacific University, competed at NAIA Nationals. Many years in indoor and outdoor leagues, both competitive and recreational. Played in two World Masters Tournaments, the first in Sydney, Australia, the second in Turin, Italy then coached a third in Auckland, New Zealand.  

Denis Krauss
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Coach Denis has been involved in the beautiful sport of soccer for nearly 40 years.  Playing almost every position from sweeper to striker throughout his career in Germany and the U.S., Denis now puts his heart and dedication in sharing his skills and experience with our young players. Denis is a supporter of FC Erzgebirge Aue (2. Bundesliga Germany) and the Portland Timbers.

Credentials/Experience: USSF "F" license, Grassroots curriculum (4v4, 7v7, 11v11) and "D" license. Futsal Coaching Certificate, Concussion Safety. Head Coach PDP and Classic Program at CUSC since 2017. Recreational Futsal coach, Asst. Coach in Germany for U17 and Adults, as well as, may years in both indoor and outdoor leagues in Germany and USA.

Brian House
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Coach Brian is a true Oregonian, born and raised to play soccer in all types of weather. This is coach House's 9th year with CUSC and has experience at every level: Rec, PDP & Classic. He coaches to inspire young players for life experiences and for the love of the game. 

Experience: 4 years as a Pioneer at Oregon City HS then went on to play 1 year NAIA Div II for Corban College. He has played soccer for 30+ years. 


Roberto Aguilar
PDP Boys Coach

Coach Aguilar is an avid soccer fan who has been a part of the CUSC coaching family since the summer of 2016. Previously, he had been a part of Milwaukie HS Boys Soccer Program beginning in 2001 including head coach from 2007-2015.  He holds a USSF "D" license.
Experience: 4 years varsity HS Soccer, Idaho ODP (1992) and 1 season at College of Idaho (1994) plus many years in various indoor and outdoor leagues.

Stephan Hausmann
Coach of Competitive Soccer for Boys

Coach Stephan has grown up with soccer in his native home of Germany and started coaching when his children started to walk. He has been with Clackamas United for 7 years where he started as a Recreational coach and transitioned to Competitive Soccer over the past 4 years. He is excited to start another year with CUSC with having received his USSF "D" license. When not coaching or making shoes for NIKE, coach Hausmann is following Major League and International soccer cheering on Bayern Munich as they lead the way! 

Experience: 10 years in the German Soccer System and 20 years Recreational in US and Asia


Michelle McHone
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Michelle coached competitive soccer for the last 2 years and is currently the head coach for U13 girls team, as well as, the Girls JV coach at Clackamas High School. She is an avid soccer player with 40 years of experience. She still plays in an adult women and coed recreational league. A passionate soccer fan, she enjoys training girls to love the sport as much as she does. 

Experience: She played competitive soccer in Southern California from the age of 8 to 21. She currently holds a USSF "D" license.

Gavin Sinclair
Coach of Competitive Soccer


Gavin grew up in Scotland playing youth soccer up until going to college.  He played competitively with both Tain Thistle, in the town where he grew up, and also for his High School team who finished as runner-up in the 1996 'North of Scotland' Cup.  He primarily played right Midfield, but has experience as a striker, sweeper, right back and goalkeeper.  Gavin still loves the sport and has been involved in coaching "Tiny Tots" in Minnesota prior to moving to Oregon.  Gavin spent last season as Assistant Coach with the U10 PDP boys and is currently Assistant Coach for the U11 and U12 Boys.  Gavin is a member of the Timbers Army and also supports Scottish Premier League team, Glasgow Rangers.

Gavin has his US Soccer Grassroots license and is working towards D licensing.


Tim Sellin
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Coach Tim was brought up through local recreational soccer clubs, played at Centennial HS with a main focus on defense.  He coached recreational soccer from 2013-2016, developmental soccer the 2017 season (Eastside Timbers - u9/u10) and is new to the CUSC family this year, 2018.  Coach Tim enjoys helping players find their natural soccer talent (defensive, facilitator, scoring...) and enhancing their tendencies, while also aiming them toward team play.  He believes futsal should be an integral part in early age soccer development. 

He acquired his 'F' Coaching License through USSF and aspires to earn his 'D' License within the next year.


Vaughn Sucevich
Goal Keeper Trainer

Coach V was born in Chicago Illinois where he started his soccer career at the age of 5.  At age 9 after moving to California, he discovered his love for being a Keeper and began playing year-round both domestically and internationally.  In 1988 while attending junior high school in California, he joined the U16 Jr. National Team and played in various European Cups in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. After attending one year at “Joe Machnik’s No.1 Goalkeeper Camp” as a high school sophomore, he was invited back the next seven years as an instructor. During that time, he trained alongside national and professional players. In 1993 as a freshman, he became the starting Keeper at Olivet college, a Division III school in Michigan. After College he played Semi-Pro in Denmark for a year before moving back home. He continues to play the sport he loves on various co-ed or men’s only indoor and outdoor teams and travels yearly to compete in the Hungarian “Arpad Cup”.  He has been coaching his children for the last 10 years.

Edgar Mora
Coach of Competitive Soccer

Coach Edgar has a huge passion for soccer and is always willing to help players to improve their individual skills and techniques. Edgar is part of the Oregon City HS Boys Program for the past 4 seasons and is currently on staff as an assistant coach.

Experience: Coach Edgar played 4 years of soccer for MHS and plays on various indoor and outdoor teams. He coached U13 Classic at Thelo.
