Scholarships

Clackamas United is proud to be able to offer scholarship opportunities to players and families who may need financial assistance to cover their fees. You can find more information below for the two scholarship programs we have; if you have any further questions please contact the club.

Please note that all applications will be: 

• Reviewed by the club's scholarship review committee. 
• Handled with the strictest of confidence, and only shared with committee members.

Please note that an application does not necessarily guarantee a scholarship grant.

Eligibility is determined using the US Government HUD median income summary. This allows us to apply a consistent and fair process for all applications.

Rather than offer a specific amount of money; we offer a percentage based scholarship program. Your eligibility determines what that percentage is. We provide scholarships at the following levels:

• 25 %
• 50%
• 75%

In limited cases we may be able to offer 100% support, but this is on a case by case basis.  Providing as much detail as possible in your application will enable us to make decision.

We try to evaluate all applications within 72 hours, but during peak periods we may take as long as 2 weeks. This can be exacerbated by incomplete applications.

We ask for supporting documentation during your application so that we can verify eligibility.

As eligibility is based on income and people in the household, we require a document that demonstrates this.  (this typically requires a copy of your 1040 cover page).

Yes, we do. 

During your application for financial aid (scholarship) there are some questions about uniform needs.  We use those answers to determine your eligibility for uniform fees to be included.
